IWD 2018 PT TPS : “FLOWERS FOR HER”

March 8 was a special day for all women in the world, a day when the whole world celebrates International Women's Day (IWD) or International Women's Day. Women's Day Commemoration is a good moment to look of  the women's contribution to the important  positions and  reward the women's positive contributions to their respective fields.

Thursday (8/3),  coincide with the moment, the female officers at PT Terminal Petikemas Surabaya (PT TPS), commonly referred  as Srikandi PT TPS, celebrated by sharing the roses for women workers, both internally and in companies, companies that become partners of PT TPS, including banking companies located in the Customer Service Building PT TPS, also the Customers consisting of Shipping Companies and Forwarding Companies

President Director of PT TPS, Joko Noerhudha also had the opportunity to say Happy Women's Day to all female employees at PT TPS. "Stay tough for your company and your beloved family," Joko said.

On the occasion, the representative of female employees of PT TPS, in particular, made a visit to the Customers to give a speech Happy Women's Day. Among the companies visited are KMTC, OOCL, Maersk Line, MSC, Evergreen, MOL, NYK, Emirates, COSCON, Sinokor, Mas Sea, Meratus Line, Tanto Intim Line, as well as some Forwarding Companies.

Legal & Commercial Manager, Erika A. Palupi said that this is done as a form of appreciation to the tough women who work in the middle of the atmosphere of the port industry dominated by men.

"We salute with the tough women who work in the field of port, a great woman who can manage his time to work with still focus on household," said Erika.

Not only that, Branch Manager of KMTC, Maria Sekarningsih admitted that she was  suprised to get visit from PT TPS complete with interest, which turns his arrival in order to give appreciation to its Customers, especially for the woman worker in company to commemorate International Women's Day.

“Thank you for TPS, we proud to be a women because we are consider we are a strong women, confidence and powerful, happy women’s day for all woman in the world,” ungkap Maria.
